Александр вошел в мир drum and bass и jungle музыки под влиянием своих старших друзей, а также подруг сестры. Услышав в 2004 году первый релиз RCola, внутренний мир Александра перевернулся, и он открыл для себя что-то новое и драйвовое. Krinjah, Benny Page, Visionary, Congo Natty, 16 Armed Jack, LoQtus, Twinhooker, KGBKid, Tester, Sumone, Paulie Walnuts и так далее. Любовь к подобной музыке появилась в первую очередь потому что в творчестве этих музыкантов присутствовали жесткие, ломаные брейки с рагга читкой и сэмплами из известных reggae\dub\dancehall композиций, как раз очень нравившиеся ему в то время.
Так же в drum and bass музыке Rastafilya выделяет для себя сочные, мелодичные и очень красивые треки от liquid funk и soulful продюссеров.
В 2006 году после посещения вечеринок и просмотра видеоряда клипов появляется интерес к dj-ингу. С 2008 года собирает винил с dubwise и ragga-jungle музыкой. В тоже время родилась тяга и к dubstep музыке.
